GLEN GARDEN – HARTWOOD, VIRGINIA

Katie and Shane’s wedding was held at Glen Garden in Hartwood, Virginia. The weather was PERFECT on Saturday, May 12, 2012. We had so much fun to shooting and editing their photos. The bride looked absolutely amazing and the groom was so handsome (their kids were totally adorable too)! I loved the light and dark purple colors that the bridesmaids and flower girls wore and the flowers were stunning!

Their wedding felt just like a wedding that my family would throw and I felt totally comfortable there. It was very laid back and quiet, but still lots of fun. I mean, how could it not be fun with red solo cups on candle sticks as their toasting glasses?! Plus, when I saw the cowboy boots and flip flops I knew they were just the type of people I’d have as friends! Katie couldn’t keep her eyes off of her new hubby and Shane definitely couldn’t keep his hands off of his new wifey. As a matter of fact, their first kiss was so long that the pastor had to interrupt in order to get on with the ceremony. Their friends and family got a kick out of that! I hope the photos reflect the love between the two of them because it was adorable!

Katie and Shane went off to the casino in West Virginia on their wedding night and had a blast! I hope they have a lifetime of happiness and joy with many more memories (and babies) to come! Congrats again on your beautiful wedding, and thank you for choosing us to capture your moments. I hope you cherish these wonderful memories forever! Best wishes to the love birds!
